MAPPING SKILLS

This service aims to facilitating understanding by a large customer or partner of product and technology skills within the association to encourage them to also propose subsystem work packages in addition to the supplies required by the single partner.

WHY IS THIS SERVICE NECESSARY?

• To best serve the above-mentioned services, it is useful for the Partner to describe himself as quickly as possible to any customers outside of LAZIO CONNECT
• One of the big customer problems is the scarcity of time devoted to scouting, mapping aims to ensure that in a short time the large customer has the clearest possible image of the partner’s skills and therefore does not escape anything from potentially interesting

OUTPUT to the MEMBERS

• The service is fully automated and allows the new partner to fill in the fields of product and technology skills independently.
• The mapping can be easily viewed by the big client in a simple and intuitive way through tables constructed following the ACARE and MOD UK taxonomy (see http://www.lazio-aerospazio.it/competenze-merceologiche )

NEW MARKETS COMMERCIALIZATION

This service aims to stimulate collaboration between partners on projects that target other markets, ie markets that members can not, at present, serve their own strengths.

WHY IS THIS SERVICE NECESSARY?

• Aerospace companies are, by the nature of the industry, cutting edge in technology and specialized expertise
• Happens, and has happened, that these competencies are found in applications in other markets (eg Railways, Oil & Gas, Biomedical)
• The purpose of the service is to find structured applications of partner technologies in other markets in order to increase the profits generated by a given competence and to stimulate collaboration on common projects
• The presence of a broker and facilitator enables the realization of many more initiatives as it brings business contacts to new markets
• Allows LAZIO CONNECT to present itself to its private investor network with well structured projects, thus increasing its funding potential

OUTPUT tp the MEMBERS

• Each new LAZIO CONNECT member will be interviewed by the LAZIO CONNECT broker in order to understand the OWN markets of his / her interest and the competencies available
• Each member will receive a report with the results of the interview that allows common refinement / correction
• The LAZIO CONNECT broker will organize meetings with existing members interested in those same issues
• During the next meeting will determine the gap to be filled in to make the project (technological, commercial, financial) happen.
• Broker will propose solutions to the above mentioned gap (eg business and / or commercial contacts in the new market, investors)

PROJECT SUPPORT

This service aims to facilitate the members knowledge about the opportunities arising from Regional, Italian and European calls.

WHY IS THIS SERVICE NECESSARY?

• For many SMEs and research centers it is difficult and complicated to stay up-to-date on European calls on an autonomous basis. The information on these calls comes in an episodic manner and, for non-experts, it is difficult to understand
• The European Community is pushing for networking between clusters / districts and providing funding to stimulate contacts between organizations through their clusters. Access to this service can therefore only take place through your own Cluster.

OUTPUT to the MEMBERS

• The service is continuous and involves both seeking networking invitations to the Association and seeking opportunities for members
• The bimestral public service in the LAZIO CONNECT Reserved Area of the Call Description Cards already pre-arranged so that the shareholder can evaluate the interest in their prior activities (to date, more than 40 previously published papers)

COLLABORATIVE PORTAL

This service aims to provide the association with an effective business card for large clients and / or potential partners and to provide an IT platform that facilitates interactivity and collaboration among partners at all levels of development of a new collaborative project.

WHY IS THIS SERVICE NECESSARY?

• The portal is needed to get in touch with potential customers and / or partners. It’s our business card. Allows sharing with interesting news partners from the business environment
• The reserved area, engineered according to the needs of the members, is a common place of work easily accessible by all and at the same time reserved only to the members
• As members bound by the confidentiality of published data in this area, the existence of the same facilitates the sharing of requests and needs on projects.

OUTPUT to the MEMBERS

• The dissemination portal , describes the association and its activities as well as reporting (area focus) news from the business environment (public domain) of potential interest to members.
• The LAZIO CONNECT reserved area allows all the activities that facilitate collaboration:
